Sleep Deprivation and more....

Who needs sleep? Apparently I don't.  I knew that being a mommy meant that there would be nights that sleep wouldn't happen, but not this many in a row.  Last night was one of the worst in a while.  Two of the four boys at my house are sick.  One of those sick ones is Alex, the hubby, who is the biggest baby of them all.  Men and being sick don't. mesh. at. all. Brayden also woke up several times with a migraine, a tummy ache, and an asthma attack.  Who has attacks while they are sleeping you ask? Brayden. I also had anxiety about the snow.  I kept waking up and checking outside. I am eternally thankful that I did not have to drive in it this morning. Then there is Carter, sweet, sweet Carter. Child you are 8 months old and should be sleeping through the night.  What? You want 2 midnight snacks?  I do to but I resist and go back to sleep.  We are going to be teaching Carter to resist the temptation. Can you do that with a 8 month old?

So where did this night from hell crazy night end up?  Me at work at 5:30 am. Alex at home barely hanging on himself and having to take care of the baby and other sickos.  I would have gladly stayed home and taken care of my sickies, I even tried to not come in.  Oh well, hopefully everyone wakes up refreshed and feeling good this morning.  After all, there is a fresh blanket of snow on the ground and everyone has to feel good to go and play in it!
